Mobile phone users want Facebook and Google

The two most-desired brands for mobile phone users in 2009 were Google and Facebook, according to a new study from Strategy Analytics. Yahoo! and MSN also rated highly in the UK, which suggests that personalised content and services are more desirable than media brands. When asked about their preferred TV brands, UK mobile users said they most wanted BBC1 and Sky Movies on their phones. [Press release]
