UK pricing and availability for the forthcoming Microsoft-produced Surface tablet has now been confirmed. Pricing in the USA was revealed yesterday.
The 32GB Surface running Windows RT will be £399 incl. VAT without the ‘Touch’ keyboard cover or £479 with the cover. There’s also a 64GB version for £559 with the Touch cover. Microsoft currently says orders will ship by 26th October 26 and will arrive by 30th October.
Windows RT is the ‘built in’ version of Windows 8 designed for tablets running an ARM processor. There’ll also be Microsoft Surface tablets running Windows 8 Pro, although these aren’t expected for around three months.
