Virgin Media launches new 'unlimited' mobile tariff

Virgin Media has revealed a new ‘unlimited’ mobile phone tariff that offers unlimited calls to 0870, 0800, 0845 and 0808 numbers as well as unlimited mobile data, text messages and UK calls. The package, which also includes a mid-range smartphone with insurance, is called VIP and is priced from £26 monthly for customers who have Virgin Media’s broadband, TV or home phone service. Other customers will pay £31 per month for the two-year minimum term contract.

The company’s 30-day SIM-only tariffs have also been updated, with a £15 per month VIP deal now offering unlimited texts, data and UK calls.

Graeme Oxby, Executive Director for Mobile & Home Phone at Virgin Media, said “We’re delighted to offer our customers these exclusive and unbeatable offers they can’t get anywhere else. We’ve built VIP to be the ultimate worry-free monthly tariff, with unlimited calls to many 08 numbers as well as inclusive insurance with 24 hour handset replacement for Virgin Media customers. In fact we’re so confident in our VIP pay monthly tariff if customers can find a better tariff out there, we challenge them to take it!”

Virgin Media operates as an MVNO using EE’s T-Mobile and Orange networks in the UK.
