JAG resolves VAT disagreement
Mobile retailer JAG has resolved its disagreement with HM Revenue & Customs about VAT payments. The company restructured in February and was asked to submit four months of VAT payments in advance, which owner John George said threatened the viability of the entire business. Mr George has now agreed a much lower figure with HMRC and is quoted in Mobile News as saying “We can now put this worry behind us and move on”.
