Entry submissions for the 18th annual Mobile News Awards are now well advanced, with the closing date less than a month away on 8th February. There are 19 categories in this year’s awards, including Best Manufacturer, Best MVNO, Innovative Handset, Innovative Product, Innovative Service, B2B Dealer and Business Solution.
A panel of 15 independent judges and technical journalists will decide the winners, having pored through submissions restricted to the size of an A4 box file.
New for 2012 is an award category called Community and Social Enterprise, which recognises organisations that donate services, equipment and technology to local communities and charities.
More than 75% of the tables for the Mobile News Awards 2012 at The Hilton on Park Lane have already been sold. The event on 15th March, including a dinner, dancing and entertainment, will be hosted this year by impressionist, actor and comedian Alistair McGowan.
Ian White, editorial director at Mobile News, said “Even if you don’t win a Mobile News Award there is always the possibility of winning a Commended Certificate. These will also be publicised in the Book of the Night and in Mobile News, thus giving organisations a great chance to add a powerful punch to their 2012 marketing, advertising and PR activities.”
For details about entering the awards or booking one of the remaining tables, contact Kim Glover on 020 7324 3500 or email awards@mobilenewscwp.co.uk
