Nokia has issued a statement about its mobile phone deal with Microsoft, which was first revealed seven months ago in September 2013.
It says the €5.44 billion (£4.5 billion) sale, which will see Microsoft buying almost all of Nokia’s Devices & Services business, is expected to be completed on 25th April 2014.
According to Nokia, “the transaction is now subject only to certain customary closing conditions”. It was originally expected to be concluded during the first quarter of this year.
