Nokia hit by 'push' email ban in India

The Indian government is asking the country’s mobile networks not to support Nokia’s new email service without implementing a monitoring system. It’s previously asked RIM to provide a similar option for BlackBerry email users.

Nokia’s new ‘push’ email service enables users with compatible phones to retrieve their messages from a variety of email providers, including Gmail and Yahoo.
