Starbucks WiFi deal is good news for UK iPhone owners

The 678 UK branches of coffee chain Starbucks are switching their in-store WiFi service from T-Mobile to BT Openzone. It’s particularly good news for Apple iPhone customers because they’ll be able to use the WiFi service free – as will other O2 mobile broadband customers. Existing T-Mobile customers should still be able to use their current WiFi contract, because BT Openzone and T-Mobile have a partnership agreement in the UK. [O2 Digital News Centre]
