UK MVNO Desi Mobile closes within a year of launch

Desi Mobile, a UK virtual mobile network that targeted the British Asian market, has closed after just 11 montha in business. It was offering ‘pay monthly’ SIM-only deals connected via the Vodafone network.

Sacha Visram, who founded the company after having worked at Vodafone, says distribution partners and staff were all paid before the company closed.
