Vodafone UK will get the Apple iPhone on 14th January

First was O2. Then came Orange. Next was Tesco. And now Vodafone has confirmed the official date it'll start selling the Apple iPhone in the UK. That day is Thursday 14th January 2010.

Vodafone says the phone will be available from £30 per month via a small number of dealers as well as from The Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4U or directly from the company. There's no sign of a pre-pay tariff at the moment.

Consumers who've already pre-registered for the iPhone will receive free Vodafone-to-Vodafone calls for the life of their contract. There'll be 18-month and 24-month contracts; each includes 1GB of mobile data per month plus unlimited WiFi and (for consumers only) unlimited text messages.
