LG Electronics says it’ll be launching its new design identity, L-Style, at Mobile World Congress next week. It’ll be seen on three new smartphones: the Optimus L3, which will be available from next month, the Optimus L5 and the Optimus L7.
The company says L-Style has a ‘timeless design’ with finer details to differentiate its mobile devices from the competition. Features will include ‘floating mass technology’, which makes the phone look thinner, and a seamless layout for a more intuitive arrangement of keys.
Dr Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Mobile Communications Company, said “Design is consistently the top or second most important factor for customers when choosing a mobile phone. With smartphones, we sometimes took a more functional approach to design but with L-Style we’re going back to our roots as a company focused on how our products fit into the lifestyle of our customers.”
