Mobile phone jammer planned for Royal Wedding at Westminster Abbey, says report

Westminster Abbey will have mobile phone signal blockers installed for the Royal Wedding, according to a report on the Yahoo! Shine web site. It says the decision has been approved by the police, with signal jammers switched on throughout the wedding.

The decision is likely to disappoint celebrity-watchers who’d hoped for Twitter updates during the service. O2 UK has recently created a Twitter list of wedding guests.
