Affiliate marketing specialist Tradedoubler has launched an application-only affiliate program with betting and gaming site Winner.com. It’s described as the sector’s first app-only affiliate programme and will offer commission payments to affiliates who encourage users to download and use the ‘Slots Farm’ app.

Idan Kfir, Head of Mobile at Winner.com, said “Our customers are embracing mobile. They enjoy placing bets and spending time playing games on-the-go, so having a really focussed and accountable customer acquisition strategy for our popular app is vital. Working with Tradedoubler, we’re able to offer a mobile-first experience to efficiently monetize affiliates’ mobile traffic. Other than the usual marketing assets, banners and links that affiliates usually use, Winner.com has developed a first-seen mobile marketing tool. By integrating one line of code affiliates can now capture their mobile traffic (estimated at 20-30% of an organic affiliate’s traffic) and effectively monetize it, making it the fastest way to go mobile today."

Last year Tradedoubler introduced an app marketing solution that can help advertisers track app downloads and in-app sales to identify the most effective advertising channels or affiliates.

We talked about Tradedoubler’s mobile ambitions in May last year. You can listen to our interview with Rob WIlson of Tradedoubler via the built-in audio player on our website or by downloading the MP3 file.

ExclusiveKapture review: the audio-recording wristband

Mark Bridge writes:

The most memorable moments in life often go unrecorded. You don't have your camera in your hands. Your finger is still hovering over the 'pause' button on your audio recorder. Or you were simply too busy experiencing whatever was happening. It's all about the one that got away.

That's where Kapture can help.
