Figures produced for Telecoms.com show that taking and sending photographs were the two most popular ‘non-core’ mobile services among UK users last year. Two-thirds of mobile users had taken pictures with cameraphones, with 44% of users also sending them to other people. Additionally, female users were slightly more likely to take and send photographs than male users.
