We've said on a number of occasions that mobile payments and mobile ticketing (or m-payments and m-tickets, if you prefer) are going to start gaining mainstream acceptance in the UK during 2009. Today, The Guardian has published an example of how mobile payments are already working well for a taxi driver in Nigeria.
