GPS-equipped mobiles now legal in Egypt

The Egyptian government has lifted a ban on GPS devices that was imposed six years ago. The National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority has said that the import and manufacture of GPS-equipped cars, phones and other devices will now be permitted, subject to certain technical requirements.
