62% of mobile video users use their mobile phone more than they use a computer to browse the internet, compared with just 9% of non-mobile video viewers. That’s one of the findings from research published by mobile video company Transpera and digital marketing researcher InsightExpress.
Similarly, 78% of mobile video users (people who watch mobile video at least once a week) rely on their mobile phone for up-to-the-minute information, compared with 19% of those who never viewed mobile video. The research concludes that mobile video users are a unique group that may not be reachable via other digital media.
