Nokia appoints new head for its mobile business

A day after announcing its quarterly results Nokia has made a couple of changes to its management team. After almost six years as Chief Financial Officer, Rick Simonson is moving to head the Mobile Phones part of Nokia’s Devices unit from 1st November. Jo Harlow, Senior VP of Marketing, is reported to be heading the Smartphones unit. The CFO role will be taken by Timo Ihamuotila, who’s leaving his position as global head of sales. [Nokia press]
