Half of all mobile customers in USA will be online by 2013

Market research and consulting company JBB Research says almost 50% of all US mobile phone subscribers – that’s roughly 150 million Americans – will be using the mobile internet by 2013. That’s over twice as many as the 18% who were online at the end of 2008. Its latest report also says total revenue from US consumers using the mobile web will hit $23.6 billion in four years, up from $5.5 billion in 2008. [Report]
