Three UK launches 3G Apple iPad data plans

Slightly unexpectedly, Three UK has said it's created dedicated mobile data plans for Apple iPad 3G users. A one-month rolling contract with a micro-SIM offering 1GB of data is £7.50 per month, while 10GB of data costs £15 per month.

The Apple iPad launches in the UK on Friday 28th May. Orange, Vodafone and O2 announced their iPad tariffs earlier this month.

Marc Allera, Three's sales and marketing director, said "Three is pleased to offer competitive data plans for iPad with WiFi + 3G in the UK. Our network, the largest in the country, has been optimized for the mobile Internet, ensuring our customers enjoy the very best mobile performance on iPad."
