giffgaff joins the unlimited mobile data debate

O2's dropping 'unlimited' mobile data, AT&T in the USA is doing the same, Orange is said to be planning a similar move soon and Vodafone's started enforcing its 500MB monthly limit. Now virtual network giffgaff has entered the debate.

giffgaff currently offers unlimited mobile data use for customers who top-up from £10 per month. In a blog post, CEO Mike Fairman admits his company will be looking at usage patterns before deciding what to do next – but says O2, despite owning the MVNO, won't be influencing the decision.
