Mobile phone manufacturer Alcatel has signed an agreement to be Virgin Media's exclusive supplier of mobile broadband modems until summer 2011. The first two Alcatel 'dongles' available from Virgin Media are the 3.6Mbps HSPA-equipped X080 and the 7.2MBps X220. Both offer automatic 'plug and play' installation.
