Mobile World Congress 2011: innovative applications and tomorrow's technology

James Rosewell and Mark Bridge present this week’s final podcast from Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. They look at innovative mobile apps and also discuss the technologies that could be on next year’s mobile phones.

There’s a conversation with Dena and Simon Marks, who were demonstrating C-CallerID: a Java application that makes small-screen mobile phones accessible to people with impaired vision. There’s also an interview with Carsten Mickeleit of ThinPrint about wireless mobile printing via his company’s Cortado app - and there’s a discussion about Nuance’s cloud-based FlexT9 dictation app.

As well as all this, James and Mark talk about the technology from this year’s show that might appear on next year’s devices… from 3D displays to gesture controls.
