Juniper Networks announces mobile security partnership with Samsung

Networking company Juniper Networks says it’s expanding its existing partnership with Samsung to deliver mobile security, secure connectivity and device management capabilities to business customers with Samsung mobile devices. The first handsets to benefit are the Samsung Galaxy Note, Galaxy SII and Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Juniper and Samsung are already working to put the Junos Pulse secure network access product and the Junos Pulse Mobile Security Suite on certain Samsung mobile devices.

Businesses will be able to protect supported Samsung devices while also preserving the security and integrity of their data, network and resources.

Sanjay Beri, vice president and general manager of the Junos Pulse Business Unit at Juniper Networks, said “Our partnership with a major mobile device manufacturer, such as Samsung, enables us to jointly deliver on critical and innovative functionality enabling the highest value for our joint customers. Juniper and Samsung are committed to a partnership wherein the two companies will continue to deliver secure, business-ready solutions enhancing security posture for enterprises and enabling new differentiated offerings for service providers.”
