Yet another solar-powered phone
You wait ages for a solar-powered mobile phone and then three come along at once. Hot on the heels of products from Samsung and LG comes the Coral-200-Solar, manufactured by ZTE and soon to be launched by Digicel (which, conveniently, operates networks in the sunny Caribbean and Central America regions). Digicel already offers its custmers solar chargers in a number of its markets. It describes this as a 'low-cost' phone, although pricing hasn't yet been announced. [Press release via RealWire.com]
