Your boss can look at your company mobile (a bit), says court

The US Supreme Court has ruled that employers can look at personal information on company mobile phones, even when that personal use is authorised – but only if there is a "legitimate work-related purpose".

The ruling follows a complaint from a California police sergeant whose personal text messages were read by a manager who was checking whether the text allowance was large enough.
