There are now 300 LTE 4G mobile networks around the world

Information from the GSA (Global mobile Suppliers Association) shows that 4G LTE technology has reached a new milestone. In total, there are now 300 commercial LTE networks available in 107 countries worldwide, with 35 networks already launched this year.

Last year, 4G LTE service was available in just 76 countries.

By the end of 2014, the GSA expects the total number of LTE networks to exceed 350.

The 1800MHz band is the the most widely-used spectrum for LTE deployments (in 129 networks across 67 countries), followed by 2.6GHz, which can be found in more than a quarter of commercial networks.
