ExclusiveNokia Point & Find opens up to user-generated content

The Nokia Point & Find service, which featured in last week's edition of The Fonecast, has been opened up to allow organisations and individual users to add their own content. The P&F Management Portal lets registered users create, manage and share their own custom online experiences with others. There's a charge for creating each experience (or 'world', as Nokia prefers); each 'world' can then be downloaded to a compatible Nokia device and will be activated when the device's camera is pointed at a relevant object.

ExclusiveLand Rover phone finally revealed

The Land Rover mobile phone we mentioned last year has debuted this week at a promotional event that involved explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes and a fair amount of mud. The 2-megapixel GPS-equipped Land Rover S1, which is produced by rugged handset manufacturer Sonim, is resistant to dust, dirt, shocks and drops.
