Following hot on the heels of IDC’s quarterly analysis comes a report from ABI Research.
They’ve estimated that 390 million mobile phones were shipped in the fourth quarter of 2010, up 15.6% year-on-year, resulting in an annual total of 1.36 billion.
ABI’s calculations show Nokia’s market share slipping to 31.7%, Samsung’s growing to 20.7% and LG’s dropping to 7.8%.
Apple, RIM, HTC, Huawei, ZTE and TCL all saw their market share increase, while Sony Ericsson and Motorola lost global market share.
