Acer is planning its own application store

A report from Bloomberg.com says Acer plans to open an online application store later this year. Initially it'll offer software for Android and Windows Mobile devices, with apps for Google Chrome software expected when Acer launches its first Google Chrome netbook in Q3 2010. In addition, an Acer eBook reader is planned for June and a tablet-style computing device is also being developed.
