The Acer Liquid A1, Acer's first Android OS smartphone, is now being sold SIM-free in the UK. It has a 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera, GPS and a 768MHz processor. Meanwhile, the company says it plans to launch five or six more Android phones in the first half of 2010.
