Adobe says a beta version of its Flash Player 10 should be available for selected smartphones after October’s Adobe MAX conference. It named Android, Symbian, Windows Mobile and Palm WebOS as operating systems that’ll be among the first devices to support the technology and says its partners have already received early versions. The company also said ARM, NVIDIA, Broadcom, Intel, Texas Instruments and QUALCOMM are all optimising Flash Player for their processors and platforms. [Adobe earnings call (slide 13)]
