Alcatel-Lucent plans to sell its Enterprise business

Telecoms company Alcatel-Lucent says it’s talking to technology investment business China Huaxin about the sale of its Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise division. The deal values Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise at €268 million (£223 million) on a cash-free, debt-free enterprise value basis. Alcatel-Lucent would retain a 15% stake.

It follows Alcatel-Lucent’s agreement to sell its LGS Innovations satellite communications business for up to $200 million (£122 million).

Huaxin is a partner of Alcatel-Lucent’s Alcatel Shanghai Bell joint venture in China.
