Almost half of all smartphone apps are usually ignored
Strategy Analytics has published a new report for the UK and the US that shows smartphone owners only use four to six downloaded applications on a regular basis. It says Apple users install more apps than other smartphone users but don’t use the applications any more than other people. Android users tend to keep two-thirds of their downloaded apps while BlackBerry users keep almost all of them. Overall, the average smartphone user regularly uses slightly more than half of the applications installed on their device. [Press; report]
