Google says the Android Market application store has now served over 10 billion app downloads - and continues to grow at a rate of one billion downloads per month. The first billion downloads were achieved in July 2010.
The company is celebrating by discounting ten Android apps for ten days. The apps - from games to utilities - will be priced at 10p each in the UK and 10 cents in the USA.
