The BlackBerry Bold 9700 has been announced as the successor to the original Bold 9000 handset – and Vodafone has said it’ll be available in the UK before Christmas, with Orange also planning to sell the device.
This new RIM smartphone has the same speed processor (624MHz) as its predecessor but is slightly smaller and lighter. The Bold 9700 has a QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2-megapixel camera, a 2.4-inch screen, version 5.0 of the BlackBerry OS and a battery that’ll deliver up to six hours of talktime.
