Bluetooth joystick company reported to have ceased trading

Zeemote bluetooth joystickMassachusetts-based Zeemote, which produced a Bluetooth joystick for mobile phone gaming, is said to have closed down. The report, which comes from MassHighTech.com, quotes Michael Fitzgerald of Commonwealth Capital Ventures as saying the company’s assets will be put up for sale. Zeemote announced an partnership with Sony Ericsson in May to package the Sony Ericsson W705 with a Zeemote JS1 Bluetooth Mobile Gaming Controller on the T-Mobile UK network; more recently the JS1 won ‘Best Mobile Accessory’ at the 2009 What Mobile Awards.
