Boston rail driver faces gross negligence charge

The driver involved in the Boston rail crash earlier this year is being prosecuted for gross negligence. It’s alleged that Aiden Quinn was sending a text message to his girlfriend when his Green Line trolley crashed into another train. The collision injured 62 passengers and caused $9 million of damage. Quinn, who was also injured in the accident, was subsequently fired by his employer. [Source: BostonHerald.com]
