Britons are wasting over £10 billion on unused texts and calls, according to a survey from moneysupermarket.com. The website's third Mobile Money Report says 46% of people with a mobile tariff that offers 'inclusive minutes' are wasting 122 minutes every month, which is over 24 hours a year. It's a similar story with inclusive texts; 48% of people with inclusive texts don't use 94 of them each month, losing over 1000 annually. In fact, 5.5 million British people don't even know what tariff they're on. Of course, all these people might all be on the most cost-effective tariff - but they're not getting the best value if they're not using their full inclusive allowance. [Press release]
