BT Mobile MVNO is moving from Vodafone to EE

BT has signed an agreement that’s expected to result in EE providing a mobile virtual network for BT customers and employees. This multi-year agreement is still subject to a final contract.

The BT Mobile MVNO currently runs on the Vodafone UK network.

Existing customers are promised a ‘seamless transition’ when the change takes place.

BT ran its own mobile network until 2001, when the former ‘Cellnet’ business unit became a separate company branded as O2.
