Change your mobile number, lose your friends

Voxbone, which operates the international iNum “area code for Earth” telephone number range, has published the results of a survey that – unsurprisingly – shows people would like a single telephone number for life.

The survey of 122 people revealed that 70% of people have lost contact with someone because they changed their phone number and 26% of people have had more than 20 different contact phone numbers.

As a result, 82% would like a telephone number they could keep for life wherever they moved in the world. [Press release via RealWire]
