Daniel Moloney to become president of Motorola Mobility

Motorola has appointed Daniel M Moloney as the president of its Motorola Mobility business. He joins Motorola Mobility after serving as CEO of electronic component company Technitrol, having previously been executive vice president at Motorola and president of Motorola's Home and Networks Mobility business.

He’ll now oversee Motorola Mobility's Home business and will help prepare Motorola Mobility for its launch as an independent, publicly-traded company. Dan Moloney starts his new role on 1st September and will report to Dr Sanjay Jha, Co-CEO of Motorola and CEO of Motorola Mobility.
