One of the highlights of Mobile World Congress is the Global Mobile Awards - and this year the event was hosted by James Corden: actor, comedian, TV presenter and one-time promoter of Windows Phone.
Here's how he introduced the ceremony, with jokes about Facebook, BlackBerry, Steve Jobs and the gestures required to control an iPhone.

Messaging service WhatsApp, which is due to become part of Facebook, says it’s working to add voice calls to its mobile application.
The new service would be seen as a challenger to existing VoIP services such as Skype and Viber as well as a threat to network operator revenue.

Cellebrite, which is best known to mobile phone retailers for its smartphone content transfer and fault diagnosis tool, is now adding new diagnostic tools to help identify and eradicate mobile malware.
It’s partnering with security specialist Webroot to integrate Webroot’s Mobile App Reputation Service and URL Classification Service, which has a database that contains millions of mobile application and website anti-malware signatures.
