The Financial Times reports that EE and Three have agreed an infrastructure-sharing deal for their 4G networks in the UK. It’s expected to speed-up the rollout of 4G technology whilst also reducing costs.
Both companies already have a network-sharing agreement for 3G services that started with Three and T-Mobile in 2007.
According to the report, EE and Three will be sharing 4G mast infrastructure and the cost of transmission to their national networks, although each will have its own antennas and core network.
