It means EE has more 4G customers than any other mobile operator in Europe.

The EE network currently covers over 500 UK towns and cities with populations of at least 10,000 people - and approaching 4,000 other villages and towns - which equates to over 80% UK population coverage. It’s aiming to cover 98% of the population by the end of 2015.

According to EE’s figures, six times more 4G data was uploaded and downloaded by customers in 2014 than in 2013.
