Facebook App Center offers a new place to find 'social' applications

FacebookFacebook has announced plans to introduce an ‘App Center’ to its web pages and also to its iOS and Android applications. It’s designed to encourage the use of mobile apps that link with Facebook.

The App Centre will promote mobile apps that use Facebook login, web pages that use Facebook login and apps that run within Facebook.com.

Customers will be directed to the Apple App Store or Google Play for iOS and Android apps; other web-based apps can be downloaded directly from the Facebook App Center. The service will be rolled out in the next few weeks.
