First it was Twitter. Now Facebook is getting a special Vodafone UK promotional deal to mark the launch of text alerts for mobile phone users. From 24th to 31st July 2009, Vodafone customers can use Facebook on their mobile phone for free. The offer applies to mobile broadband use as well as access via mobile devices.
‘Free Facebook’ is the third in the company’s series of ‘Free Friday’ events, following free mobile internet on 1st May and free music downloads on 5th June.
