Research published by Orange UK says a fake mobile phone call is now the UK's favourite way of avoiding an uncomfortable social situation. In fact, 81% of people polled by Orange said they'd faked a call. The top reason for doing this was to appear busy, followed by avoiding unwanted friends and escaping from a dull date.
It can surely be no coincidence that Orange has also announced a 'Fake A Call' application that's available to download for £2 from the Orange App Shop.
