Faster battery charging in 2-3 years

Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) say that a new way of producing lithium-ion batteries could result in batteries that can be charged in seconds. The batteries, which would also be smaller and lighter, require just a small change to the current manufacturing process and could be on the market within three years. [Source: MIT.edu]
