Free Twitter on 3 UK goes on and on and on

3 UK, which introduced free mobile access to Twitter for its customers throughout February and March 2010, says it's extending the offer for the foreseeable future.

Tweeting messages and pictures remains free on all 3 phones, whether customers are using the Twitter mobile site or taking advantage of integrated apps. Much like the company's free access to Skype, customers on Pay As You Go don’t need to top up their credit to use Twitter.

Charlotte Blanchard, 3's Director of Products and Services, said "Our 3G network is purpose built for internet services like Twitter and we’re always looking for new ways to make these easy and affordable to use."
